Dinners:
Changing it up, we’re moving Friday evening’s Swimmers and Yackers Pasta Dinner AND Saturday evening’s Pig Roast and Party to The EastSide Restaurant, 47 Landing Street, Newport, VT. Patti Casey and Tom MacKenzie will be playing Friday and The Hitmen will be back for Saturday. Dinners start at 6:00 pm. But delayed arrivals are allowed and welcomed
We cover the cost of Friday’s dinner for swimmers and yackers. Friends, family, and other hangers on can join us for $15 (if you pay in advance) $20 at the door.
Saturday’s Pig Roast and Party is $20 if you are with us (and pay in advance) and $25 for the general public or if you pay on the day of)
Boat Tours
Hard times have hit the Northern Star and it is now heading to dry dock (hoping for a reincarnation). But, we are attempting to line up some small boats to give tours. Cost, if available, would be $10 per person for an hour on the water. A portion of that would cover the boaters’ costs. Most would go as a donation to Memphremagog Watershed Association.
If you are interested, you can sign up now to get yourself in line. But don’t pay until we know we have a boat for you. Tentative departure times, noon, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm and 4 pm. From The EastSide Restaurant.
