2, 3.5, 6.5, and 12 Miles

To and Around the Islands of Derby Bay
Bell, Black, Cove, Province and Ile Ronde

9 am Start

From The Clubhous, 649 Sunset Acres, Newport, VT 05855

Fees:  2 miles: $5; 3.5 miles: $25;

6.5 miles: $250; or 12 miles: $375

Season Pass: $600

All Swimmers must be escorted by a kayaker

Cost of us providing a volunteer Kayaker:

$100 (2 to 3.5 miles); $150 or $250 (6.5 to 12 Miles)

Maximum of 20 swimmers and 20 kayakers on any given Saturday

3.5 Miles – Around Bell, Black, Cove and back

6.5 Miles – around Bell, Province, Cove and back

12 Miles – Past Bell and Province, around Ile Ronde and back past Province and Cove

Please Note: The 6.5 and 12 mile options cross the border. You’ll need a passport or an enhanced drivers license available in case you have to land in Canada.

Water temperatures in Derby Bay generally run between 65 and 75 F this time of year.
