WE’RE LOOKING AT YOU, 2027!

Welcome to “one of the world’s most prolific and beloved series of open water swimming events,” at least that’s what Marathon Swimmers Federation says.  Kingdom Swim has the honor of receiving the Silver Medal, as voted by the WOWSA community, as Best Event in the World in 2023.  Over the past 15 years, the Northeast Kingdom has evolved as an “unlikely mecca of open water swimming.” Daily News of Open Water Swimming.  “[Our] lakes are legendary, [our] swimmers fierce, and [our] community is second to none.”  Quinn Fitzgerald, of the World Open Water Swimming Association. 

Registration for 2027 is now open for Kingdom Swim, Memphremagog and Willoughby Swims, In Search of Memphre, and Memphremagog Winter Swimming Festival

Online registration for Kingdom Swim 2027, is now open!  It’s a raucous and robust celebration of open water swimming, with challenging swims of 1 mile, 5 km, 10 km, 10 miles and 25 km along with a 100 yard and 1/4 mile Youth Swim.  We are limiting registrations to 25 swimmers in each distance.  Registration will remain open until July 1, 2027

On line registration is now open for our Clubhous & Willoughby Swims in 2027 two of our most popular swims, one from The Clubhous on Lake Memphremagog (July 30, 2027) and our Lake Willoughby Swim (July 31, 2027)  The Clubhous Swim is limited to 20 swimmers.  Willoughby is limited to 35 swimmers.

In 2022 we blew open the Canadian border and resumed In Search of Memphre the 25-mile length of Lake Memphremagog.   We now have a trained and experienced corps of boat pilots. with two escort pontoon boats.   We are offering 8 three-day windows with one to two  swimmers in any given window.  We are also open to relay teams and 50-mile, double crossing attempts upon special  request.  Registration for The Search is now open.

We kick off 2027 with our Memphremagog Winter Swimming Festival, one of the best, most bad ass pool parties in all of the Americas.  25, 50, 100, and 200 meter distances in water that is generally 30.5 F (think microscopic slushy) and air temperatures ranging from 0 F to 40 F and a community of winter swimmers that is second to none.   Online registration is now open for 2026 and 2027

We are currently evaluating NEK Swim Week,  Swim Series as to whether and how best to continue them in the future.
