Run the Kingdom

Kingdom Games now offers three, highly acclaimed, running events. We run mostly on dirt roads, gravel paths, and trails that are challenging to the most seasoned athlete, great for running clubs, and feature shorter options to allow the entire running and walking community to participate, “Just for the Fun of It”  Each race has a Team Challenge:  Teams of 3 to 10.  Top three times of each team are used to determine the fastest teams with a special prize and bragging rights.  Here’s what we offer in 2023.

Dandelion Run, May 20, 2023 – Half Marathon with 10 K plus 1, 2, and 4 mile options on dirt roads through the world famous dandelion fields of Derby, Morgan and Holland, with musicians in the fields along the way and back at the Derby Beach House at the picnic lunch and after party. It’s May! It’s time to Run! Just for the Fun of It! Underwritten by Community National Bank. In honor and memory of Terri Weed. Supporting Umbrella and its important work advocating for victims of violence.

  1. I signed up for the dandelion 10k on May 21st. My check was cashed but I am not on the roster. Please let me know that you have me signed up for it. Thank you.

  2. From the photos of the marathon, it looks like it’s all on roads, albeit dirt ones. Is the same true of the 17 miler? If so, would it be okay to push a baby in a stroller?
