Open water swimming in the legendary lakes of the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont and the Eastern Townships of Quebec is growing each year. All swimmers are REQUIRED to be accompanied by a kayak or SUP. They are encouraged to bring their own. But when they can’t, we offer to recruit one for them. We charge them an extra fee. We provide kayakers with a stipend, dinners, if they need it, we try to arrange for lodging with locals. We’ve built a wonderful base of volunteer yackers over the years, but are always looking for more.
In 2022 where we are looking for yackers for Kingdom Swim on July 23rd, 2022 and for one or more days during NEK Swim Week August 16 through 14, 2022.
